Four elements of change

  • Knowing – I know the reason why we cannot go on as we did before, I know where we are headed and what that means to me in concrete terms.
  • Being able to – I have the ability to realize the required changes in my work procedures and behavior.
  • Wanting to – I have good reason to implement these changes as they serve my own interests and development.
  • Being allowed to – The new procedures and ways of behavior are supported and fostered by my superiors and by relevant processes and structures in daily business.
