For many years, I have worked with and alongside remarkable people - many of which women who have built careers, led, achieved, cared for others, and carried a great deal.
I have witnessed that often around midlife, what once gave clarity and direction often no longer feels like the whole story. Something new is beginning to emerge, without yet knowing what form it might take. Beneath the physical changes, shifting energy, and familiar roles that no longer fit quite as they once did, I hear a deeper question emerge:
How can the life I have built make room for the woman I am becoming?
This is what inspired my doctorate colleague and fellow executive coach, Jacqueline van Paassen, and me to create The Liberation Chapter — a four-day retreat for women who sense that midlife may be asking for more than adaptation or symptom management, and that it may be the threshold to a powerful new chapter.
